Dr Theresa Friedrich advises and defends individuals in all areas of white-collar criminal law and administrative offences law. Her practice focuses in particular on corruption and criminal tax law.
In addition, Dr Friedrich primarily advises companies in connection with criminal and administrative offense allegations. She regularly conducts internal investigations and represents companies before investigative and regulatory authorities. Furthermore, Dr Friedrich supports companies in developing, implementing and/or optimizing compliance management systems. In doing so, she benefits from her experience from her previous work for a leading, internationally active German corporate law firm.
Dr Friedrich regularly publishes academic articles in specialist journals, in particular on corruption.Special Qualifications
- Dissertation on "Third-party benefits in favor of the employing company within the scope of sec. 299 StGB - An examination of "quick savings" and similar business practices as well as tying transactions". The thesis was awarded the WisteV Award for the best dissertation in the field of white collar crime from a practical perspective and the Award of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
